The "Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon just recently revealed that Justin Bieber cancelled a planned sketch for his appearance on the host's "The Tonight Show". And after ditching the show, he allegedly lost his cool, thanks to the singer.
The "Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon revealed that Justin Bieber cancelled a planned sketch for his appearance on September 2 episode without telling the host beforehand. And seemingly, the comedian was frustrated. "It's like, I don't care," Fallon told Billboard. "I mean, I wish they'd told me weeks ago because today's the day, and now we have to crunch and think of an idea to do.
He claimed that he had to apologize to the show's crew, but that's reportedly not the issue. He stated, "He's here to sing, so as long as he's comfortable and it sounds good then we did our job. And if I talk to him and make him funny and make him look good, that's my job. That's all I have to do."
According to E! News, Bieber has been making a few appearances on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", "Today" and "Tonight Show". The incident comes as a surprise to the media, especially that he's making his comeback, starting from his emotional MTV Video Music Award performance and two chart-topping hits featuring his new music from his latest album.
Previously, Fallon hinted the fans of the show to the "Where Are You Now" crooner's huge appearance. He took to Twitter, stating, "Doing something fun with Justin Bieber then he's performing with The Roots." But unfortunately, neither the host nor the fans never got to find out earlier that "something fun" was meant for Bieber cancelling his appearance. He called off his guesting in just a few hours before he was set to start taping the show without any further notice.
Fallon insisted though that he has no hard feelings toward the young star. While Bieber didn't carry out his comedy sketch with the host, he performed with the "The Roots" bandleader, Questlove, with his new single "What Do You Mean?" on the show.
