Total War: Warhammer has been through quite a number of discussions, ideas and more importantly, anticipation. Fans have wanted to see more than just the standard walkthroughs and news-they wanted to see footages, and they finally got more than the usual.
According to Game Spot, both Sega and Creative Assembly released an extended Let's Play gameplay footage for Total War: Warhammer. The upcoming strategy game has made waves online and the fantasy-themed marvel has shown fans now another addition to the system.
Reported by IGN, the said video showcases a battle during the early parts of the Dwarfs campaign, and highlights the Dwarfen High King Thogrim Grudgebearer and how he instigates a massive clash against the Greenskin horde of orcs that tried to ambush them. The said video was admired by many fans alike, and was said to be extremely appealing.
Being noted as one of the main races of Total War: Warhammer, Dwarfs are definitively different from the others-being inclined to a more defensive style. As delivered by Eurogamer, Sega declared, "They are sturdy warriors and ingenious engineers, the detail and scale of the cavernous underground cities, or Dwarfholds, they inhabit reflects this. Dwarfs foster a defensive play style, and this can be seen here as they use stout melee troops and powerful artillery to fend off the Greenskin ambush from all angles."
Apart from their noted traits, it was said that Dwarfs are given the privilege of accessing the Ancient Dwarfen Underway. To further clarify, the said underway permits the Dwarfs to circle the map and obstacles; and even better, Dwarfs will be able to gather troops or units and earn combat bonuses as they battle underground.
Without a designated release date yet, Total War: Warhammer is currently being developed by The Creative Assembly, in association with license-holder, Games Workshop. The game is bound to come to the PC, and stay tuned for further news about the upcoming title.
