The release of Bandai Namco's upcoming fighting game, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, is confirmed to launch in February next year for a new mode, polished scenes, and additional gameplay as detailed by CyberConnect2 CEO at the recently concluded TGS 2015.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is originally scheduled for release on the Fall season of 2015 but it is delayed next year to allow the developer a chance to fine tune the game before its public release. Hiroshi Matsuyama of CyberConnect2 gives more light on the reason behind the postponement during the Tokyo Game Show 2015 last week. According to IGN, the developer wants the game to be "powered up more."
The improvements include the general animation such as creating different visual effects on the damages to the opponent inflicted by a character's secret technique. The visual effects will be different to the individual characters. In addition, the delay also allows the developer to do fine tuning of boss fights and increasing the gameplay volume.
The added gameplay, according to Matsuyama, is a new mode that will let the gamers to "discover the world". More details on the game will be announced at New York Comic Con next month.
Earlier this month, some images of Kakashi went online showing him in his final form, the Susanoo Kakashi. The scanned images also shown Kakashi who will have the double Sharingan form, as well as an image of Susanoo Kakashi fighting against Kaguya Otsutsuki. Yibada noted that Kakashi will also be making his way as one of the playable characters in the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4.
A trailer was also released recently showing off pre-order characters of Boruto and Sarada in full combat mode, reports Christian Today. The teaser reveals Boruto in fighting moves similar to his father, Naruto. The 150-minute trailer also showed characters from the film Boruto: Naruto the Movie.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is set for release on Feb. 4, 2016 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC/Steam.
