Pixar has announced that a sequel film for the "Incredibles" is expected. Although few details are heard for this, it was speculated that the film will have its schedule just after Cars 3. However, changes have been made and so as well with the proposed schedule.
Brad Bird, the film director, confirmed in Collider that the release date will come ahead of the Cars 3 instead of after. "In terms of the release date, we were originally-Incredibles was supposed to happen after Cars and our wheels just happened to click a little earlier so they moved us up," he said.
But, even Cars 3 does not have an official release schedule yet. Cinemablend has reported that Pixar has claimed for June 15, 2018 which they insisted that the superhero sequel might own that date. According to the article, Bird is three-fourths through the progress of the script.
In the previous months, rumors said that the production of the movie will progress before the year ends. But, with the release date of 2017 or 2018, Master Herald indicated that the 2015 production is way too early for its release. It is possible that the pre-production is bound to happen this year instead and the total production will start next year.
It was on the reports that the "Incredibles 2" will pick off five to 10 years after the first film. If this will be the initial setting, people will get to see the grownup and aged life of the whole family.
Speculations about who will be the villain in the film are also buzzing up. Rumors said that Jack-Jack, the youngest son, will become the villain as an enemy manipulates him and he goes against his parents. On the other hand, he will have a difficult struggle controlling his superpowers leading to chaos.
With all the angle of the storyline, audiences are getting more intrigued as to what to expect in the sequel film. The date of release remains unconfirmed and unofficial but, it may not be too long before they reveal it.
