"I Am Cait" star Caitlyn Jenner may be ready to quit reality TV once and for all. After the 65-year-old received poor ratings for her docu-series, and with all the negativity she received from her family, Caitlyn is considering a break from the spot light.
According to In Touch Weekly, sources are saying that the former Olympic champion has had enough of reality TV, and is planning on stepping away from the lights and cameras. After the appalling ratings the eight episode docu-series received, Caitlyn has realised showbiz just might not be her thing.
"I AmCait" which focused on Cait's life, and her post-gender transition, pulled the once much loved dad of the Kardashian Jenner clan away from his kids, leading to various arguments and disagreements between the two families.
In another report from The Hollywood Gossip, when the show first started, ratings were expected to be even higher than that of the famous "Keeping Up With The Kardashian" reality program; sadly, that was not the case. During mid-season, rumours started speculating that "I Am Cait" may have to be cancelled due to the poor ratings.
However, despite the rough start the documentary reality show received, ratings started to pick up during an episode which included ex-wife, Kris Jenner, meeting and confronting Caitlyn for the first time.
Though Caitlyn is unlikely to come back for a second season of "I Am Cait," reports have it that the 'E! Network' is still considering giving Caitlyn a second chance at the docu-series.
According to Radar Online, rumours have it that the 65-year-old may star alongside new BFF, Candis Cayne, and other close friends for a new upcoming show. According to sources, the decision is completely up to Jenner, and E! Network is ready to start whenever Caitlyn is.
With the show now over, the Kardashian-Jenner siblings are reportedly relieved that their former father won't be revealing any more 'dirty secrets' of the family. Though Caitlyn Jenner has claimed she wants to take a "breather" from all the showbiz, with the possible opportunities to have another show with close friend Candis, the 65-year-old may be back to TV screens sooner than expected.
