A new teaser was recently released for Sam Smith's Writings on the Wall which will be part of the new James Bond film, Spectre. A poster was also released for the upcoming film which shows Daniel Craig as Bond, and scary looking man behind him.
As reported by The Guardian, Sam Smith recently released a 15-second teaser for his new song, Writing's on the Wall via Twitter, and is expected to be greatly pleasing to hardcore Bond fans as the song stays true to the 60's vibe in the Bond franchise.
"4 days!! https://po.st/kOcdHg Thanks to everyone pre-ordering, can't wait for you to hear 'Writing's On The Wall'", Smith wrote on his post. The film was written by the 'Stay with me' singer for 20 minutes in January and was co-created by his collaborator, Jimmy Napes. The much anticipated song is expected to be first officially aired in September 25.
Meanwhile, as reported by Forbes, a poster for the upcoming film was also released earlier this month showing Craig in white tuxedo while a man in what appears to be a skull mask wearing all black and white is pictured on the background.
According to the trade, the marketing strategy for the film is rooted on the 007 nostalgia of the golden days of James Bond which is also highly appealing to the franchise's hardcore fans, but may not be as effective to new viewers.
As reported by /Film, the movie will feature Daniel Craig as James Bond once again as he receives a cryptic message from the past that will send him on a rogue mission to Mexico City where he meets Lucia Sciarra played by Monica Belucci. He infiltrates a secret meeting where he eventually uncovers the sinister organization called 'SPECTRE'.
Meanwhile, as the new head of the Centre for National Security questions his actions and challenges the MI6's relevance with M battling political forces, Bond goes on a mission to Madeleine Swann who may hold the clue to the truth behind Spectre.
Spectre is directed by Sam Mendes from the screenplay by John Logan, Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, and Jez Butterworth. It is set to hit theaters on November 6.
