McGregor May Face Faber and Pettis in Ireland if he wins against Aldo in UFC 194

The Conor McGregor and Jose Aldo Fight is finally going to happen in the main event of the UFC 194 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on December 12.

According to IBT, Irishman McGregor was originally supposed to fight Brazilian Aldo in the main even of UFC 189. Unfortunately, Aldo had to pull out of the fight because of a rib injury sustained during training. He was replaced by Chad Mendes who lost to to McGregor by second round TKO in the interim title matchup.

Now Aldo is ready to face McGregor. UFC president Dana White, reported has confirmed that if McGregor becomes the new UFC featherweight champion after beating Aldo he can defend his title in his homeland. According to IBT, Dana White has is eyes on Croke Park Stadium in Dublin, Ireland for some time now, but bad weather conditions in Dublin made it difficult to schedule fights. And after seeing that the Irish Fighter is growing in popularity, he now believes that that stadium could "become one of the most-watched UFC events in the future."

But when Dana White was asked to make a prediction on which fighter was going to win, according to the Bleacher Report, his response was "My prediction is-I don't know what's going to happen. If I knew what was going to happen, I'd be Vince McMahon. I don't know what's going to happen."

Furthermore, aside from being a promising lightweight fighter, McGregor has also tapped into the nerve of some MMA fighters who are dying to beat him at the Octagon. Fellow Coach Urijah Faber is one of those who are eager to face McGregor. The Bleacher Report has also reported that UFC fighter Anthony Pettis reportedly revealed that he would be open to a match with Conor McGregor at featherweight or lightweight. Unfortunately, according to Fansided, UFC would not agree to any fight versus the Irish Man prior to the McGregor-Aldo in December.

Needless to say that if McGregor defeats Aldo in in the main even of UFC 194, he might be able to fight either Faber or Pettis in his homeland.
