Both Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani had a disastrous summer as both recently just got divorced from their respected partners. The two singers must have discovered that it is comforting to be in the company of someone with the same situation because the two are said to have become closer than ever on and off the set of The Voice, igniting rumors that they are dating.
Recently, a source from the NBC singing competition show has revealed exclusively to Radar Online that it is getter hotter behind the scenes between judges Shelton and Stefani, saying, "There is definitely something going on with the two of them now. Blake and Gwen are being very flirty both on and off set." The insider continued, "At first they were just bonding over the fact that they were both going through divorces at the same time, that turned into an even closer friendship between them." The insider has also added then the two judges often left the set together and has been hanging out more often.
On the other hand, another report has emerged saying that the two are just friends who are trying to help each other get through post-divorce blues. According to Hollywood Life an insider exclusively revealed that the friendship is "platonic" saying, "It's not a thing at all. They are friends and that is it. They aren't hooking up. Blake is a great guy and lots of fun on set with everyone, but that is not turning into a relationship between him and Gwen, No truth at all."
In the meantime, there are also circulating rumors that Shelton's ex-wife Miranda Lambert is very upset about the stories of Blake and Gwen dating. According to Gossip Cop, rumors that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are in a "hot new romance" and that Miranda Lambert is furious about it came from Life & Style magazine. Gossip Cop said that it has attempted to correct the magazine several times as it supports the fact that the judges aren't dating since an insider has told them that the dating rumors are untrue.
Only time can tell if Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are indeed dating. If the rumor isn't true then it will most likely stop but if they are more than friends it will someday come out in the open.
