Less than a week to go, Google is set to reveal its two new Nexus smartphones in San Francisco. As the Nexus smartphones boxes leaked, everyone can now confirm that the names of the two are Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P.

According to Android Police, its exclusive images of the retail packaging prove that the actual names of Google's latest Nexus handsets are Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P. The LG-made Nexus handset is said to be a 5.2-inch follow-up to the 2013 Nexus 5, which would also be called as the Nexus 5X. On the other hand, the Huawei-manufactured Nexus device is a 5.7-inch flagship, which would be named as the Nexus 6P.

The boxes show that Google uses a modern box art for both smartphones. Each has background image, which indicates the familiar default wallpaper of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Nexus 5X has a rectangular box with cardboard accent sleeve, which is where the decoration and information are placed. Conversely, the Nexus 6P box has rounded corners. Both boxes have the old Nexus logo on the lower right side, while the model names, phone capacity, and silhouettes of the handsets are on the upper left corner.

The Nexus 5X is expected to sport a Snapdragon 808 chipset, 5.2-inch 1080 pixel display, 2700mAh battery, and 3GB of RAM. It will also feature USB Type-C support, a 12.3-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front snapper.

Alternatively, the Nexus 6P allegedly has a larger display of 5.7-inch Quad HD with a metal body. It will be powered by Snapdragon 820 processor as well as include a fingerprint scanner and ship timeline for Q4. Moreover, it is rumored to be the first Nexus smartphone to offer a 128GB internal storage.

In less than week's time, everyone will witness the highly anticipated Nexus event by Google. All speculations will then be confirmed or denied.
