Google's September 29th event is now official. All rumors have been confirmed as the search giant sends out invitations for its event and announces the upcoming occasion.
The Google event will kick off at 9:00 in the morning at the Left Space Studios in the Mission District of San Francisco. As the invitation says, Google will be showing off "some tasty new treats and much s'more."
Though Google did not specify what treats are those, it is widely expected that it will introduce its two new Nexus smartphones. These are LG-made Nexus and Huawei-made Nexus devices. The LG Nexus or the Nexus 5X is reportedly cheaper and smaller. It will feature a 5.2-inch full HD 1080 by 1920 pixel display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 2700mAH battery.
On the other hand, the Huawei Nexus, allegedly known as Nexus 6P, will sport a 5.7-inch QHD screen, Snapdragon 810 chipset, front facing speakers, and 12-megapixel rear camera as well as 8-megapixel front snapper. Both are expected to have the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box.
Moreover, it is also expected that a new Chromecast, which has a balloon-like design, will be launched at the event. Rumor has it that this gadget will be faster and bigger than the original streaming stick. It is expected that it will come with Chromecast Audio, a second dongle that focuses on wirelessly-enabling speakers for Sonos-style streaming music.
Aside from the two Nexus smartphones and a new Chromecast, Google might also show off the final version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow firmware and announce a confirmed date as to when it will be released officially.
Google has not confirmed anything about the details on its September 29th event, however, those things mentioned above are most likely what to be expected by everyone. Thus, all Google fans and spectators will have a day full of surprises.
