"Jane the Virgin" star, Gina Rodriguez has called it quits with her boyfriend of one year, Henri Esteve. According to multiple reports, the two parted ways amicably and their split was a mutual decision.
Rodriguez was seen alone without her former boyfriend when she attended the Emmy's over the weekend. Seeing her flying solo is not a normal sighting drawing speculation that she has ended her relationship with Esteve, according to PEOPLE.
According to a Rodriguez source, lack of time destroyed their once strong relationship. However, they remained on friendly terms and are both being positive about their breakup.
"Gina really cared for him. She is a sweet person with a prosperous career, but she has limited time and it was just a mutual split," says the source. "They are still friends and very realistic about relationships."
Back in March, Rodriguez expressed her admiration for her then-boyfriend. She gushed about having a boyfriend, who works in the same industry. She shared her happiness in their relationship as it pays to have a boyfriend, who understands her in-demand job, E! News reports. The 31-year-old "Filly Brown" actress even called Esteve "gorgeous, talented and really, really good guy."
"I just know that I have a very strong [and] supportive boyfriend. He's an amazing artist himself who respects the craft...He supports me and I think that's all that matters. We're very honest and there's a lot of communication. He knows that my priority is Jane and him and family."
People made the conclusion that Gina and Henri have split up after she deleted a number of Instagram posts pertaining to her former flame, Daily Mail reports. Meanwhile, despite her recent breakup, she was seen as bubbly as ever during the Emmy Awards night on Sunday. Lately, she was posting some puzzling tweets stirring rumors if she's dissing her former boyfriend.
