Former UFC Welterweight champion Nick Diaz has started to figure out what to do with his life to back up his five-year suspension. The Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter was sentenced to a five-year suspension for testing positive for marijuana consumption and also paid a fine of $165,000 for the said case.

Yahoo! Sports shared that Nick Diaz is contemplating what he will do after the said suspension and how he can rekindle his career. The former UFC welterweight champion started fighting professionally when he was 18 - a long career stint that he vouched his life for.

Nick Diaz shared that he held off getting married and having kids all for the sake of fighting which he considers his first love. The MMA fighter made it a point to devote all of his time and effort into fighting and after the fiasco, he does not know if he can still fight. After the suspension was announced, Diaz felt that fighting has been taken away from him.

Other UFC fighters have shown their support to Nick Diaz and his comeback after the five-year suspension. Ronda Rousey, Nick Diaz's long-time friend, has shown her support about the latter's case and have spoken against it. In this light, the former welterweight champion showcased his appreciation to Ronda Rousey and considered her as a great friend, according to an article from Fox Sports.

Still, a lot of people cannot accept Nick Diaz's UFC fate. Senator Tick Segerblom of Nevada has showcased his disappointment about the state's verdict of the UFC fighter. The senator exclaimed that the said suspension is total nonsense. He also advised the Nevada State Athletic Association to rethink the punishment, and if need be, change the rules, TMZ cited.

After being tested positive for marijuana use, Nick Diaz has been temporarily suspended from fighting in the UFC. He is trying to figure out what he will do to get back up on his life. Furthermore, he has received a lot of support from his fellow MMA fighters and even from the state senator of Nevada.
