Global information, technology, and telecommunication services company NTT closed the deal to acquire Solutionary, an Omaha, Nebraska-based info security provider. Solutionary was recapitalized by fim Clearlake Capital in 2011. Financial data were not disclosed.
NTT, considered as the world's largest IT and telco company, is looking for expansion after it posted more than $107 billion revenue. The company employs 227,150 people spanning 69 countries. NTT is currently focusing its operations in cloud technology and services through its group of companies Dimension Data, NTT Data, and NTT Communications. The company currently operates in 50 countries.
NTT Group's annual R&D budget totals to $3.5 billion.
Solutionaly is a leading Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) in the United States and Canada. The company focuses on security services and security consultation. Solutionary is based in the patented ActiveGuard platform.
