Persona 5 has been long talked about, and the upcoming anime series title renders quite mysterious bits and pieces as the months go by. Recently, Atlus showed some of the latest details about the title and some hints in the game's story that fans should be aware of.
As reported by Destructoid, numerous details about the game have been brought to the attention of the fans, showing mainly screenshots, videos and even the story run down of Persona 5. Most of the information were disclosed by Katsura Hashino, the Game Director.
According to Twinfinite, there are noticeable differences in the said title that make Persona 5 more captivating, most of which are related to the story's composition. Compared to the character line up of the past two games in the series, the Phantom Thieves of Persona 5 are not connected to any event, but are simply related to social reform and utter atonement. The thieves will not be going up against a single antagonist, but will pinpoint a whole multitude of enemies that they will go after, continuously.
Noted by Polygon, Persona 5 gives the players the chance to trek freely around various locations around a Greater Tokyo Area. Moreover, the characters will be able to communicate with each other through phone messages, through an app known as Isekainabi or Parallel World Navigation. The said application permits the players to customize and even enlarge the scope of the stories for that particular character.
Persona 5 is still labelled by Hashino to be work in progress, and due to the large scope of the game caused by the attempt to improve it, the developers will truly need more time. The game was originally set to be released by winter of this year, but as stated, the game still is being developed entirely and has been moved to summer of 2016. The game will be launched for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, so keep posted for further updates.
