With only very little news regarding its release, Persona 5 fans may just be itching to know a little something about the game, as well as it's possible release date.

As multiple role-playing games of all types have recently been announced, Persona 5 aims to belong to the fad, as gamers have anticipated the said installment for quite a while. As reported by Christian Today, Sony published a list of games with release dates that are already confirmed, such as Hitman, Just Cause 3, Mirror's Edge: Catalyst, Tom Clancy's The Division and more importantly, the release of Persona 5.

There are more announcements to be awaited on, especially for the European areas. The many rumors that may be surrounding the game's release date are rather questionable, and apparently, players will have to hang on a little longer before the much-awaited news.

Recent speculations say that Persona 5 may be released by fall of this year, specifically between October and December. Without any specific details, again, the rumors may just be a stalling means for developers Atlus to keep the fans calm. Setting aside the uncertain news, Persona 5 has a newly presented trailer which takes on the new features of the game.

According to a recent post by Playstation Lifestyle, there are new modes added in the system. One of which is Cooperation which gives a more interactive approach, and the other being Sneak which enables evasion for gamers who are in the dungeon. A returning game feature is the "Persona 3" gameplay mode or the All-Out-Attack; this mode enables players to merge offensive skills once the opponent get off their feet.

Characters are now also permitted to use both melee and ranged weapons. In addition to that, there will be new weapons for Persona 5. The protagonist Phantom will be given handguns and blades, while Ryuji Sakamoto is to be given shotguns and other more destructive weapons. The other characters such as Morgana will be bestowed swords and slingshots, and lastly, Anne Takamaki will be equipped with whips and automatic weapons or machine guns.

The plot of Persona 5 will take place in Shujin High School, where these characters are to embark in numerous action packed chaos that will get the fans wanting more. As reported by Latinos Post, a gameplay trailer that was recently brought to the public causes quite a stir to the crowds, and may lead to more news in the near future regarding the fixed release date of the game.

Persona 5 is still lurking behind the shadows as a sure launch date for the title is still very unclear to date.
