Editor for Spanish publisher Ediciones Gigames, who owns the rights to the books, revealed that George R.R. Martin's "Winds of Winter" will be released sometime next year.
According to Youth Health Magazine, the editor Alejo Cuervo revealed that the sixth instalment for his "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series is to be released in 2016. The editor also added that soon after the English version will be released, a Spanish version is to follow shortly after. He confirmed that they will merely translate the English version of the book and confirmed that there won't be much difference to the original.
During the end of the 5th season of Game of Thrones, the character of Jon Snow was stabbed to death by his Night's Watch crew who did not agree with his decision. International Business Times stated that Cuervo confirmed Jon Snow is alive by the sixth season, however did not reveal any details. Jon Snow is likely to be alive as well on the "Winds of Winter" release next year. The fans of the series have come up with different theories already as to how Jon Snow's character, portrayed by Kit Harington, is going to survive his alleged death on the show.
The British actor, Harington has been spotted still in Belfast where the "Game of Thrones" is being filmed according to Cross Map. This has increased the speculations that he really is coming back for the sixth season of the show. The actor explained that he knows until when he is under contract of the show. Thus, the actor is giving out hints that he is going to be on the show for a while, especially that it has been confirmed to run for eight seasons.
The storyline of both the book series and the television series have been followed by a lot of fans all over the world. Certainly, bits of revelations from either one is something very important to the followers.
