"Sherlock" star Benedict Cumberbatch answers mean tweets about him, saying he doesn't find it disturbing or annoying at all that some people just don't like him as an actor.
Last Monday night,"Sherlock" actor Benedict Cumberbatch appeared on "Jimmy Kemmel Live". There, he read out loud some of the brutally mean tweets about him. According to Entertainment Tonight, one of tweets that he read said "If you find Benedict Cumberbatch attractive, I'm guessing you'd also quite enjoy staring directly at a cat's anus". The actor was obviously not offended and is OK with the fact that some people don't find him attractive at all.
The 39-year-old actor's response enamoured his fans even more, saying "Yeah, well someone did, and she put a ring on it". He showed off his wedding band from his wife, Sophie Hunter, as reported by Refinery 29. He was definitely quick and quirky on his response to people's mean tweets about him.
He married Hunter, a theatre director, last February in a private ceremony surrounded only by close friends and family. The ceremony was held at St. Peter and St. Paul's church in Mottistone, England. The couple just had their first son earlier this month. All the more reason for the actor not to be so mindful of his haters, knowing he is well loved by a lot of his supporters as well.
A lot of other celebrities were engaged in such segment of the show where they read mean tweets about them. Cinema Blend reports that Cumberbatch was one of the first three to get into the hot seat. It is rather no surprise how Cumberbatch responded to those tweets with great wisdom and sense of humour. The actor already hit the international mainstream with his performance as a modern Sherlock Holmes in BBC's series "Sherlock". He even ventured in to the big screen; one of his big successes was "The Imitation Game" and even being nominated for an Academy Award.
The actor has had a lot of successes lined up for him already, making him react hilariously to some of the brutally mean tweets about him. He has already reached far more in his career than anyone has done.
