Sarah Jessica Parker talks shoes obsession; Actress reveals a producer sent her a treadmill in the 90’s

Actress Sarah Jessica Parker turned out to be equally fascinated with shoes just like her popular character Carrie Bradshaw in "Sex in the City." On the other hand, the actress revealed to her latest interview that a producer actually sent her a treadmill because he was concerned about her weight.

She started her shoe line in February 2014, the SJP brand which offered a range of chic styles of shoes with the just the right prices. The brand has a collection of single sole pumps, peep toe sandals and well-balanced t-strap heels that every girl wants to have.

And to commemorate the debut of SJP shoes at Bloomingdale's in New York City this weekend, the actress was present for a meet and greet with her fans. There was even a shoe signing portion during the event. And in a recent chat with Harper's Bazaar, the "Sex in the City" actress revealed her fondness to footwear.

She claimed that in terms on high heels or flats, she's not a very particular type of a person. But in her work, it requires her to wear every type of shoes she could ever imagine. She added, "Today, I really wanted to shine myself up and look my best. I often feel that that's more the case with a heel. I have a shoe called the 'Veronica' that's super dressy and flat. I've worn it on red carpet events all summer long."

According to Bustle, Parker's situation now reflects an iconic scene in her show "Sex in the City", where her character Carrie enters the Vogue closet and basically obsessed with the shoes she found. It's when she realized about the "urban shoe myth" that are the Manolo Blahnik Mary Janes.

On the other hand, in another recent interview with Sirius XM via Time, Sarah Jessica Parker reminisced a story about working with the producer of "Honeymoon In Vegas", a film she starred alongside Nicolas Cage way back in 1992.

The "Divorce" actress admitted that for that movie, she had some unexpected help so she would not gain weight. The actress recalled, "I was about to do Honeymoon In Vegas, and before that, I was off to do another movie in Iowa." She claimed that the producer was very concerned about her staying fit for the bikini scene in the movie so they decided to send her an actual treadmill in Iowa.

Many of her fans perceived the gesture a little too insulting for a producer to send a treadmill just to monitor Parker's weight. They even claimed that her body's even banging today, what more when she was just 27 years of age. But the shoe-lover didn't really had hard feelings about it at the time since she was really into the hit '90s workout song "Everybody Dance Now". When she was in Iowa, on the treadmill, she even continued to run to the song.
