Ed Sheeran just gave his fans some good and bad news. While everybody could now hear "Lay It All On Me", which he's done with Rudimental, the singer revealed that it's the last bit of music he'll be releasing for a "very long time".

According to Radio.com, Rudimental launched a brand new single today entitled "Lay It All On Me", which features singer Ed Sheeran. It marks the second recent surprise collaboration of the band and Sheeran. The "Thinking Out Loud" singer just dropped a shared track with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

The two parties also worked with the British alternative rock band Snow Patrol for "Bloodstream" which was from Sheeran's second studio album "X." The remixed version of the song was a Vodafone Big Top 40 chart hit.

Sooner than the release of "Lay It All On Me," the newest collaboration single of Sheeran and Rudimental was released on the airwaves of Capital FM for the very first time just this Thursday. The collaboration song will be the most recent song from Rudimental's upcoming album "We The Generation."

Sheeran, not only released his own music, but he also worked with the likes of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Hoodie Allen and The Weeknd in the last two years. But recently, he announced on Twitter that he's going away for a while. The "Photograph" crooner claimed that it's good for both his fans because his new music will be out tonight and his haters since he will not have a new single for a while.

The 24-year old singer-songwriter noted that he always aims to please everyone. He announced on his Twitter page, "I have a brand new single coming out tonight with @RudimentalUk on iTunes and all of that, I really like it, hope you do too." He added the bad news in another tweet, "This is my final thing I'm releasing for a while. Bad news if you like me, great news if you don't. We cater for everyone at SheeranCorp ."

To date, "Lay It All On Me" and "Bloodstream" will appear on Rudimental's second album "We The Generation". Although, Sheeran's fans are quite sad to hear the news, his fans in The Land Down Under might be jumping for joy as he will be in Australia from late November for his stadium tour, to kick off in Brisbane on November 28. He will also be touring New Zealand later this year.
