"Supergirl" is set to premiere a few weeks from now and a never-before-seen video clip was released showing Melissa Benoist, who plays the lead character, and the villains she will encounter. Her abilities have also been revealed in the teaser trailer as well.
According to Vine Report, the first look at the villains was part of the teaser trailer and it showed Maxwell Lord, Reactron, Vartox, and Hellgrammite. The spaceship of Vartox was also featured as in the comics. He is from the planet Valeron and is equal to Superman when it comes to his abilities and powers.
Aside from that, the footage also showed Supergirl's heat Vision, super breath, and her ability to fly. She also has superhuman speed and superhuman strength. It was also shown that the people who know about Kara/Supergirl's secret are Jimmy Olsen and Winn Schott.
According to Ecumenical News, the first image of the villain Red Tornado has been released by CBS. This character will be played by Iddo Goldberg and will be battling Supergirl in season one. Goldberg will also be playing the supervillain scientist T.O. Morrow but is not an alter ego of Red Tornado. In the official description, Red Tornado is the most advanced android in the world created by T.O. Morrow that was supposed to be used as an ultimate weapon for the United States Army.
Meanwhile, Gazette Net shared that before becoming Supergirl, Kara Danvers was a nerdy coffee fetcher at a media company. She is basically invisible to many of the people in the company she works for.
"Supergirl" premiers on CBS this October 26 at 8:30 P.M. but will move to its regular 8 P.M. timeslot by November 2. She will be battling villains in the first season such as Red Tornado, Maxwell Lord, Reactron, Vartox, and Hellgrammite.
