StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void New Trailer Titled 'Reclamation' Released; Protoss Race Rich Story, Background, and Game's Context Revealed

StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void is almost out and Blizzard is rolling out more of its story. On Friday, a new trailer was released showing more of the game's story and focusing on the Protoss race.

Entitled Reclamation, the new trailer for StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void has provided a bit more background and context. Shack News commented that the Protoss characters featured in this video are the same characters that take center stage in the game's opening cinematics.

Reclamation is focused on the Protoss race and their imminent reclamation of Aiur and hopefully it would answer to all the questions that gamers have been asking since like, 1998, reports VG24/7.

StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void will focus primarily on the Protoss race with Artanis as its main protagonist. Players will take command of the magnificent protoss arkship, the mighty Spear of Adun.

Recently, the developer also explained the purpose of renaming the Allied Commanders mode of the game into Co-op missions. StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void's lead designer Jason Huck told PCGamesN in an interview that the mode is renamed. Huck stated, "there was confusion between Archon mode and it and which was which. Plus we want people to understand what that mode really is."

Players who are unfamiliar with StarCraft can easily confuse the two modes. The new Co-op Missions will allow gamers to play as one of three Starcraft characters and ally with a second gamer to complete their goals.

StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void first announced at BlizzCon 2014 is the third and final chapter of StarCraft 2 franchise that will be released for PC as well as Mac on November 10. It will also be released as a standalone game and players will not need the original StarCraft 2 to play it. Those who pre-ordered the game digitally gets access to the Whispers of Oblivion, a special three-mission prologue series created to bridge the storyline between Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void.
