Apple is expected to launch its newest laptops this year or early next year. Rumor has it that the MacBook Air and Pro will come next month, probably along with the alleged iPad Air 3. However, some suspect that the devices will be released next year to maximize the profits of the current MacBook devices.
Many Apple fans hoped that the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models would be unveiled at the Apple's big event earlier this month. Unfortunately, these devices were not launched, which gave the fans a lot to speculate on the possible release date and specifications.
According to some reports, the two models will arrive when the 2015 models begin to shrink. Sadly, there is no imminent date as to when the previous models will be sold out. But the official release date seems to happen when everyone least expect it.
Some of the purported features of the MacBook Air 2016 are Intel Skylake-U chipset, OS X El Capitan, two versions - 13-inch and 15-inch screen displays, Type-C USB port, as well as an enhanced battery life. Moreover, it may have a Force Touch technology, Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 graphics card, and may be thinner compared to its predecessor.
On the other hand, the price for the MacBook Pro Retina is rumored to be at $1699. It might have a 16GB of RAM, 256GB of internal memory, and a quad-core Intel Core i7 processor. These next-generation laptops are expected to feature big upgrades that will most likely be more popular that the previous devices.
Nevertheless, Apple has not confirmed anything about the new MacBook devices yet. The official release date for the MacBook Air 2016 is about to happen, though. All Apple users and speculators must have to wait just a little bit for the Cupertino-based tech giant will announce things about the new laptops any time soon.
