Samsung is rumored to be adding Galaxy O5 and Galaxy O7 to its line of devices. The gadgets had their alleged specs leaked after several benchmarks were posted.

The two new rumored devices are starting the new Galaxy O series that the Korean tech giant is allegedly developing. Samsung has not officially announced the rumored devices yet. Despite the lack of official announcements from Samsung, the Galaxy O7 and Galaxy O5 already have model numbers: SM-G600 and SM-G550, respectively. Interestingly, there are also leaked specs.

The specs were initially spotted on GFXBench, a benchmarking website. However, searching for the devices now will not turn up any results anymore.

Rumored Galaxy O5 Specs

The new device is expected to sport a 5-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels for screen resolution. It's not much compared to the flagship models of Samsung.

Looking further at the specs, it also seems like the Galaxy O5 is just a low to mid-end device. It will be powered by a quad-core CPU at 1.3 GHz under the Exynos 3475 SoC, according to Tech Times. It will also be coupled with just 1GB of RAM and the Mali-T720 GPU for playing mobile games.

Rumored Galaxy O7 Specs

Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 powers the device with a quad-core CPU clocked at a slightly lower 1.2GHz. The GPU of the rumored handset is the Qualcomm Adreno 306. Still, it will have 1GB of RAM like its little brother.

However, the Galaxy O7 will have a larger screen at 5.8 inches with the same 720p resolution, according to GSM Arena. It is also rumored to have a 5MP front snapper and a 13MP rear camera.

The Galaxy O5 will have a less powerful camera. The front camera is rumroed to be a 4.7-megapixel one, while the rear might have 8 megapixels. Still, both will be able to capture Full HD 1080p videos.

Both are rumored to run the Android 5.1.1 version, which is quite disappointing considering that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow is on the way. If it does run the Lollipop version, an update for Android M might be available in the future.

Rumors of the new Galaxy O series started to spread last month. The development has been quite slow, but these new leaked specs should keep fans excited.

Samsung hasn't given any confirmation regarding the rumored devices, according to Vine Report. So for now, interested Android users still has to wait for further announcements.

The Galaxy O5 and Galaxy O7 has no release date yet either. However, the alleged leaked specs could be a sign that it's already under development.
