Tom Brady explains so-called Donald Trump endorsement, says he doesn't ''even enjoy'' politics and will vote in 'own personal choice'

The quarterback of New England Patriots may have acted like he's endorsing Donald Trump in the past, but Tom Brady is now making things clear regarding his political remarks.

The Internet totally freaked out a couple of weeks ago when reporters found out Tom Brady has a "Make America Great Again" hat, which is the signature headgear of Donald's presidential campaign, inside his locker room. In a related report from E Online, Brady said that "it would be great" if he could see Trump in the Oval Office in the near future.

This may sound like an early endorsement but Brady made things clear during an interview with WEEI's "Dennis & Callahan Show" as reported by It Is What It Is. He said that his remarks are simply "off-handed" comments. "It's just a different world than when I started in professional football. Even an off-handed comment like that, like you said, that people may run with," he clarified on Monday's show.

Brady also said that he understands that the people who run with his remarks are just doing their jobs. Furthermore, he made it clear that his comments are just a way of having fun with some things. However, when asked on a serious note about what he really thinks of the previous "Celebrity Apprentice" host, Tom said "He's been a fun guy that I've had a lot of time around,"

To keep things completely honest, Brady seems to be much more occupied with guiding the Patriots to victory. Besides, whoever he is going to vote for will be kept very private.

"Whatever I vote is going to be my own personal choice based on how I feel. I don't even know what the issues are," he stated. "I haven't paid attention to politics in a long time. It's actually not something that I really even enjoy. It's way off my radar."

Trump might not get Brady's vote, but Washington Post declared other supporters of the presidential candidate like Dennis Rodman and NASCAR driver Korbin Forrister. The most recent who showed support is Bobby Knight, who endorsed Trump in a magazine article.

This clarification made by Tom Brady explains everything about his supposed political endorsement for Donald Trump. While Brady may not be helpful for Trump in the election, many supporters of the aspiring president do not lose hope. What effects will Brady's recent actions bring to Trump's candidacy?
