Canadian-American actor, Jim Carrey is grieving over his former girlfriend's seemingly suicide. Cathriona White took her own life and found her body on her house in Los Angeles the morning. The actor has made his official statement regarding his ex-girlfriend's death.
The TMZ reported, the 28-year-old, Cathriona White took her own life. The LAPD received a call from White's Los Angeles residence on Monday last night. A phone call told them that they were at her house and found her already dead.
The LAPD told, it is suspected as overdose of drugs as pills were found nearby her body. Two of Cathriona's friends found her body, explaining they went to her house to check out how she's doing that night.
A source also explains that she left a suicide letter for Jim Carrey, a letter regarding their split up last September, 24. She took on twitter that day and last tweeted "Signing off Twitter, I hope I have been a light to my nearest and dearest." the Daily Mail reported.
The comedian-actor made his statement regarding the death of his girlfriend, "I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona. She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled." Cathriona White, an Irish origin and was raised in Tipperary. White also went to California to work as a makeup artist and had the opportunity to work on different high profile shoots, according to E! News.
White and Carrey began going out on March 2012, but broke up less than a year later. Jim Carrey talked about his relationship with an Irish girl on the Irish Independent back in 2013. On May, this year, the two got back together again as the pair were seen together on the streets of New York, holding hands.
However, referring to her suicide letter, it implied that the two broke up again. Cathriona White's family haven't release their official statement regarding her death.
