Sony Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact Specs Detailed; Device To Be Launched This October

Japanese tech giant Sony is rolling out its newest flagships, Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact, to the market this coming October. These two new handsets made by Sony has been unveiled earlier this month at the IFA 2015 event in Berlin, Germany.

According to Yibada, the Sony Xperia Z5 has already been available for pre-order in Hong Kong. On the other hand, the Z5 Compact recently paved its way in several countries in Europe.

Tech Advisor reported that Hiroki Totoki, President and CEO at Sony Mobile Communications, stated "Since users already create, share and enjoy most of their content on the go - we've set out to bring Sony's latest innovations in camera, design and display to ensure the Xperia Z5 series is the best possible lifestyle and entertainment platform."

Furthermore, Vine Report elaborated the features the Xperia Z5 and Z5 compact have. Z5 sports a 5.2-inch wide screen with 1080p Full HD resolution, with IP68 certification for water and dust proofing protection. This handset runs through an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, with Adreno 430 GPU. It'll be packed with 4GB worth of RAM, along with 32GB worth of built-in internal storage capacity, supported with external microSD expansion of up to 200GB worth.

As for the camera, the device has a 23 megapixels rear-facing camera that can record videos of up to 4K resolution. This device also comes with a 5 megapixels front-facing camera that is best for seflies and video calling, that can also record videos of up to 1080p Full HD resolution. All these will be powered by a 2900 mAh battery.

On the ther hand, Sony Xperia Z5 Compact sports a 4.6-inch wide display, armored with scratch-resistant glass and oleophobic coating, with Triluminos display and Sony's very own X-Reality Picture Engine. This handset is engineered with an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, with Adreno 430 GPU. Z5 Compact will feature 32GB worth of built-in internal storage capacity, supported by an external microSD expansion of up to 200GB worth.

As for the camera, the device has a 23 megapixels rear-facing camera that can record videos of up to 2160p at 30 fps rate. This handset also comes with a 5 megapixels front camera that can record videos of up to 1080p Full HD resolution.

These amazing handsets are expected by Sony not only to pull up its sales but also to receive positive reviews. The company is yet to announce the specifics; but with its release quickly approacing, every little detail about Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact might be revealed one by one soon.
