The trailer for the forthcoming movie "Burnt" has been released, showing Bradley Cooper's struggling chef who is trying to make a huge comeback. The four-time Oscar nominee has recently confessed how much the movie has taught him about cooking.
"Burnt" sees Cooper as Adam Jones, a former star chef who's looking to revive his legacy. He seeks the help of an influential critic whose reviews are tantamount to closing restaurants. Radar Online reported that the culinary film circles around Cooper's two-star Michelin chef who desires to run the best kitchen in London, all in the hopes of returning to Paris to gain that elusive third star.
Meanwhile, /Film mentioned about just how fascinating it is for a movie to explore the art of cooking. In fact, the style of the story is seen as something that is remarkably different and seemingly more intense.
On the other hand, speaking to Yahoo Movies, Cooper revealed how the film has taught him about how much he can't cook. He mentioned about the kind of execution "that's world class," while getting "three Michelin stars is literally almost impossible."
Cooper went on to say that he did have some cooking experience - albeit minimal - prior to shooting the film. He said that when he was still a kid, "I would screw up cooking with my grandmother," and since his family is Italian, "cooking was a huge part of it."
The 40-year-old actor will be joined by a stellar cast that includes Sienna Miller, Omar Sy, Daniel Bruhl, Matthew Rhys, Alicia Vikander, Uma Thurman, Emma Thompson, Jamie Dornan, and Lily James. John Wells ("Shameless", "ER"), directed the movie, while Steven Knight ("Locke") wrote the script.
Many are already excited to see Bradley Cooper become successful in his endeavor into the culinary world. The upcoming film is scheduled to hit theaters on October 3.
