When actor Jason Momoa made his first appearance in the Unite The Seven teaser posters as Aquaman, it certainly had the fans talking. And now, the actor revealed a few interesting plot details about his the film as well as his costume, intensifying the hype more for his upcoming superhero flick.
It holds true that fans were a bit worried when in the promotional material, the character's outfit contained shades of black and gray. However, when asked about the famous Aquaman tights in an interview with The Robot's Voice, Momoa dropped a subjective hint:
"Well, there might be some bit of orange and green. A bit of respect to prior work, but I think he is meaner now and upset - look at what has been done to our oceans." He went on to say: "That's his world that has been polluted."
Based on Momoa's statement, it is likely for the "Aquaman" movie to circle its plot around the world that has been poisoned - let alone the superhero's beloved ocean. People can somehow assume that tcertainly dhe sea-dwelling super would do what is needed.
Hollywood Reporter, on the other hand, reported that the idea of Aquaman avenging the oceans against humankind is somewhat similar to Marvel's "Sub-Mariner," than DC's "Aquaman". The publication added that such portrayal could only fit perfectly with the "Man of Steel," which has a darker plot.
As for the rumors about the hero appearing first in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Justice League," prior to a solo "Aquaman" movie, Momoa neither confirmed nor denied, as reported by iSchoolGuide. He just reportedly said that he can't say much detail for now.
Although DC might still be keeping some plot details under wrap, the fans don't have to worry as the "Aquaman" would eventually hit the big screen soon. After all, Momoa's hint on what his costume would look like is a sign. Nonetheless, for now, viewers and DC fanatics can only hope for "Aquaman" to appear in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" to help set the DC universe.
