Kelly Clarkson cancels remaining 2015 tour dates; Vocal rest badly needed?

American Idol singer Kelly Clarkson recently announced that she will be cancelling the rest of her tour dates this year. She was advised to get vocal rest until the end of the year, prompting the cancellation of her tour.

Singer Kelly Clarkson is supposedly bound for Canada and the United Kingdom to finish her tour this year. However, due to the advice of her doctors, she is asked to stay in bed and rest until the end of 2015. According to Entertainment News Online, the singer has been very apologetic and sincere in announcing the cancellation. She assured that the people who bought the tickets will get a full refund for what they purchased.

It was extremely necessary for the singer to take a vocal rest. During her tour in some parts of the United States, she cancelled her last six stops due to a vocal strain. Rolling Stone reports that Clarkson stated she hated cancelling and especially didn't like cancelling the rest of her Piece by Piece tour. The singer was supposed to start a 10-City run in Canada to be followed by six November dates. She has been battling vocal problems for over a year now after the birth of her daughter in 2014. She admitted that she got scared, thinking that she won't be able to sing anymore. However she recovered, hence the release of her Piece by Piece album.

The 32-year-old singer earlier expressed her frustration on her twitter account. She already has a 14-month old daughter River Rose and her pregnancy or birth has caused her the vocal problems. She says she can't wait to be healthy again according to Mirror. Due to doctors' orders, she has to oblige to resting her vocal chords for months.

The singer had admitted to gong through the phase of fearing that she may never sing again. After she gets her well-advised rest, she assures to make it up to her fans after cancelling her tour.
