Jennifer Garner finally made her first red carpet appearance as a single woman. After her split from husband Ben Affleck, she attended a red carpet event looking flawless in a black dress.
The 49-year-old actress showed her elegant beauty despite after being divorced to actor Ben Affleck which they announced last June, ending a 10-year marriage. According to US Magazine, the actress looked absolutely flawless in black as she attended her first formal red carpet appearance since the divorce. The actress hosted Baby2Baby's charity dinner at the Chanel Robertson moms along with actress Rachel Bilson. The event was held at Chanel Boutique in Los Angeles last Tuesday.
This event, however, was not the actress' first public appearance since the divorce, but the first formal one. As reported by Entertainment News Online, the first one took place at the "Think It Up" telecast where she, along with other celebrities, participated in a fundraising event aimed to support students and teachers in the United States. The actress has been keeping her schedule busy amidst the divorce. Her schedule also included having dinner with ex-husband, Ben Affleck. Just last week, the two were spotted at Nobu in Malibu, California where they enjoyed a meal together without their children.
The couple are now allegedly trying to be good friends despite going through the divorce. Entertainment Tonight reports that the two have been spotted together without their wedding rings. They are obviously trying to keep things civil for the sake of their children. Garner and Affleck are doing a good job in handling their divorce despite the reason behind it, which apparently was an extra-marital affair. Their family has been spotted together a couple of times in different occasions even after the controversial split.
Despite pushing through with the divorce, Garner and Affleck are obviously trying to keep things in a friendly manner for the sake of their family. They are in such good terms that they even spend time alone together and Garner looks more stunning now that she's single and available.
