After 21 months of marriage Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have called it quits and their divorce has been finalized faster than their brief marriage because of a prenuptial agreement.
E! News claims to have obtained a copy of the divorce petition that was reportedly filed Sept. 25 in L.A. Superior Court. The divorce petition was said to have been filed by Kaley Cuoco herself, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the grounds for the separation. Moreover, according to the court documents the former couple separated on September 3 and it also indicated that a pre-nup was signed Nov. 20, 2013 about a month before their wedding.
A representative for the actress has told US Weekly in a statement on Friday, Sept. 25, "Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage, they ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter." US Weekly has also reported that prior to the split, "The Big Bang Theory" Actress has deleted almost all of Sweeting's photos from her Instagram account.
The actress seems to be handling the split well. Kaley Cuoco reportedly spent time with her family and friends over the weekend. Last Saturday she reportedly made her long-time dream of competing in a horse-jumping event come true with her recently bought horse she named Zaza at the Flintridge Autumn Classic in La Cañada Flintridge, California.
Cuoco took to Instagram to share a snap of her happy moment with Zaza, in which she captioned, "normancookAfter!!!! Never felt so happy!!! Thank you #fieldstone , Michelle , @twgoldberg @zoeypacyna @peteyleo and all our friends and family that came and cheered us on last night. I've never felt more surrounded by love."
No details about the pre-nuptial agreement have been released but nevertheless it surely contains whatever the former couple agreed upon before the marriage such as spousal support and how assets will be divided. Thus the divorce of Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting was finalized in a short period of time.
