Casting is in full swing for the currently untitled Underworld 5 which is currently speculated to be entitled "Next Generation". The latest installment in the franchise has found its villain in the person of Bradley James while Lara Pulver was also recently confirmed to be the latest addition to the cast.
As reported by AV Club, iZombie star, Bradley James is officially on board to play as the main villain in the film which will also star Kate Beckinsale who will reprise her role as Selene and Theo James who will return as David.
Meanwhile, aside from James, We Got This Covered also reported that Sherlock actress Lara Pulver is currently the latest addition to the roster of cast as she is officially on board to star in a currently undisclosed role.
Despite that the movie's story and plot are also currently being kept under wraps, previous speculations suggested that it will feature the younger generation of vampires and werewolves as they continue the seemingly unending war between their supernatural races that was left off by their relatives.
As cited in the previous report, the film will serve as the film's directorial debut of Anna Foerster who will be the first female director in the franchise. Foerster's prior works include TV directing for various series in several episodes of Criminal Minds and Outlander. She also worked behind the camera for the films White House Down and The Day After Tomorrow.
Principal photography for the film is set to begin in Czech Republic in Prague, as it is expected to hit theaters on October 21, 2016. Underworld 5 is written by Cory Goodman and set to be produced by David Kern, Gary Lucchesi, Tom Rosenberg, Len Wiseman, and Richard Wright.
