Five Nights at Freddy's World a Horror RPG? Scott Cawthon Declares Game Still Under Development

By

Five Nights at Freddy's World is the latest proposed expansion in the horror franchise of Scott Cawthon. After the massive success of the previous, many fans have anticipated an even bigger continuity but Scott Cawthon has something completely different up his sleeves.

According to Design and Trend, Five Nights at Freddy's creator Scott Cawthon was very mysterious with the answer as to whether he will drift away from the horror franchise or stay as is. As he was asked of how the next game will be, a straightforward answer was that he said he already came up with an idea for the next one.

Cawthon clarified that he plans to stay on the horror rail for the upcoming installment in the Five Nights at Freddy's series, and with a further twist to go with it. The game was revealed to be a role-playing game, and it came as a bigger shock to the long-time fans that the entire roster of characters will be playable in the upcoming title.

Delivered by International Business Times, the approach of Cawthon for the said upcoming expansion has a dab of cuteness in it, but not losing track of the horror which made the franchise ever-so-popular. Though he hasn't entirely closed some details about the game, it is presumed by some fans that once the game is ready to go, maybe the scarier parts can then be revealed, showing what Cawthon has in store.

As reported by Cinema Blend, Five Nights at Freddy's World is still being worked on heavily as of the moment. Since the orientation is that of a role-playing game, the development may take a little bit more time and the probable release date can take place within 2016. Sadly, that would be as far as the public can hold on to, for now.

Stay tuned for further updates and new details on Five Nights at Freddy's World in the coming months.
