When Star Wars Battlefront open beta kicks off on October 8 next week, gaming participants should need some larger hard drive free space to install the game. Community manager Matthew Everett also revealed that surprises and cool stuff are planned during this event.
Tech Times reports that Star Wars Battlefront PC gamers will need 11GB free space on their drives, while PS4 and Xbox One gamers will need about 7GB free space on their hard drives.
The open beta will be open for everyone, and Battlefront community manager Mathew Everett, via Star Wars official blog, guarantees that there will be enough server capacity for everyone to play. Gamers will still need to be connected to the internet whenever they play the missions, however, when the game ships on November, Missions can already be played offline.
Everett also explained that the beta will be having two Multiplayer modes and Missions "which can be played via co-op, and split-screen on console." Also, he assures fans that there'll be surprises when the beta goes live on October 8.
"Keep your eyes peeled for myself and many other developers during the live beta as we have some cool stuff planned," said Everrett.
When the beta goes live next week, EA and DICE says that skillful players will get a chance to get their hands on Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker, notes IGN.
Gamers can start preloading the beta on October 7 at 1 AM GMT for PC users via the Origin store.
