Tris and Four will continue the fight in The Divergent Series: Allegiant. A new trailer has been released recently while franchise leads Shailene Woodley and Theo James share experiences during filming.
Tris, Four and their allies crossed the wall to see the world beyond in the new trailer released for the film, and as reported by Realty Today, Woodley and James revealed how it was like filming the scene.
James admitted to feeling a bit overwhelmed during filming. "We did this bit when Shai had to be facing down and I had to be the other way, and it was a little daunting", he revealed, while Woodley said he relied on his on screen partner during the scene. "I was holding onto Theo's shoulder like it was the last thing!", Woodley said.
According to MTV, Allegiant will be the second to the last film in the franchise while the last installment was also recently entitled Ascendant. With the new changes in the film's title, many are hopeful that it could also indicate a change in the plot wherein Tris and Four could have a happier ending.
However, without revealing the film's plot book series' author, Veronica Roth confirmed that changes are to be expected in the film. "Well, basically, it means there are going to be some changes, but it's really too early to know exactly what those changes will be or the extent of them" Roth said.
While it has not been confirmed whether or not Tris and Four will have a different ending, Movie News Guide reported that James and Woodley might not be teaming up in a while after the movie. James will be busy with his new films 'War on Everyone' and 'The Secret Scripture', while Woodley will be preoccupied with the forthcoming 'Snowden'.
Aside from Woodley and James, The Divergent Series: Allegiant will also star Ansel Elgort, Zoe Kravitz, Maggie Q, Jeff Daniels, Naomi Watts, and Bill Skarsgard. It is directed by Robert Schwentke, and set to hit theaters in March 18, 2016.
