Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has been recently given a PG-13 by MPAA while Jesse Eisenberg hinted that a sophisticated theme is to be expected from the film. Meanwhile, a new Wonder Woman statue complete with Diana's armor will be released on movie's premiere.
As reported by E Online the film recently earned a PG-13 rating which was also the same rating that Man of Steel received during its release. However, the reason for the said rating spawned speculations about a possible romance between characters. The film received such rating because of "intense sequences of violence and action throughout, and some sensuality."
The intense violence and action were expected causes given that the film was revealed to be darker and grittier. However, Screenrant reported that the part of "some sensuality" could mean a budding romance between Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince as suggested by their James Bond-esque scene in the trailer. Although, it could also point out to Kal-El a.k.a. Superman and Lois Lane as they will be taking their relationship higher as to moving in to one apartment.
As previously revealed, Batman and Superman will be up against each other in the film as written by Chis Terrio and David Goyer. Moreover, while he has nothing but good words for the writer, Jesse Eisenberg said how many fans will enjoy the superhero flick which include sophisticated and important themes.
"He's such a brilliant guy, so well read. He's interested in very sophisticated topics and discussions. So in Batman V Superman, even though it's a superhero movie, people who don't necessarily see films in that genre, like this crowd, will probably enjoy it. It discusses some very sophisticated and important themes", Eisenberg said.
Meanwhile as reported by Movieweb, a new statue of Diana Prince as Wonder Woman was also unveiled showing the heroine from Themyscira in her full costume complete with the tiara, armor stylinng, sword, bracelets, and golden lariat. The statue is 13-inch long and will be available in March which is also in line with the film's release.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is directed by Zack Snyder which will star Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jesse Eisenberg, Michael Shannon, and Jeremy Irons among many others. It is set to hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
