Tom Hiddleston proved that he is more than a capable actor by showing off his impressive impersonation abilities. And just recently, Hiddleston was given the opportunity to impersonate the iconic Robert De Niro in front of the man himself.
Tom Hiddleston impersonated Robert De Niro's impression and it is so accurate that left De Niro, himself so amazed. According to People, the Marvel actor boosted up his confidence as he acted out a scene from De Niro's 1995 movie "Heat" as he guested on The Graham Norton Show. Not only that he showed off his impersonation skills, the veteran actor was just sitting a few distance away from him alongside Anne Hathaway and Kenneth Branagh.
In a report by Variety, the Oscar- awarded actor was impressed by how Hiddleston re- enacted his scenes from "Heat". "That was great. That was my favorite scene in the movie," De Niro said. "It's an expression of admiration, just to be clear," Hiddleston stated. "I do impressions of people I admire." He continued by saying, "This is so meta. I feel like I've gone into a parallel universe."
Reportedly, the Marvel actor almost re- enacted the whole scene of De Niro's film. Not only that De Niro was left amused, the host and the audience seemed pleased with his impersonation talent. Surprisingly Hiddleston also imitated Pacino's gruff. Later on, the Avengers actor continued chatting with De Niro. And at the end of the appearance, Hiddleston seemed to be embarrassed about his impersonation and left a permanent smile to the audience, as mentioned by Popcrush.
Meanwhile, the episode also included Hiddleston's impression of the host himself, as well as Branagh's impression of Ian McKellen as Gandalf in "Lord of the Rings." Norton also teased Hiddleston about his massive fan base, known as the Hiddlestoners. And now, Hiddleston continuously proves to his fandom that he's not only an applauded actor, but he also got some other skills in his sleeves.
