Universal just recently released the latest trailer for the movie "Steve Jobs". And in the middle of the Oscar- winning role rumors, Michael Fassbender, who's portraying the role of the man behind Apple, says that the Oscar buzz makes him feel really good.
The "Steve Jobs" film's first impressions are flooding all over the online world. And even the full review of the movie is not yet revealed, Deadline has already posted a concise movie review about the flick. The movie site claimed that the directing and the editing is impressive, as well as the script by Sorkin that is "even more effective" than his Oscar-winning piece "The Social Network".
Indiewire then, rated the film B+, claiming that the score was based on the performances of the movie's cast and the decision to focus on three highly stressful points in the Apple founder's life to show off his true personality. They even called it "a kind of "Birdman" for the tech sector," thanks to its real-time accounts of some extremely spectacular backstage highlights before the big show. However, they noted that Sorkin's statements can suffer from "constant overstatement" and some foreshadowing to Apple's future feels "unnecessary."
The movie also garnered 100% on Rotten Tomatoes with just five reviews collected at this moment. And although it's still premature to pitch the movie for an Oscar award, many of the movie enthusiasts think that Fassbender's portrayal of the role would make the movie successful in bagging awards.
And now, after all the movie reviews, opinions, and Oscar buzz, the movie's lead star told E! News that he's pretty happy that his new film is earning a lot of praises. He claimed, with a big smile while promoting the biopic about the late Apple co-founder, "It makes me feel good." Then his co- star Kate Winslet interrupted him while stating, "It bloody should!"
The biopic was set backstage minutes before three iconic product launches in Steve Jobs' career. The story unfolds with the beginning of the Macintosh in 1984, and ending with the unveiling of the iMac in 1998. Steve Jobs takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter.
Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen, Jeff Daniels, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Katherine Waterston also star in the film, which is directed by Danny Boyle and written by Aaron Sorkin. The film will hit the big screens on October 9. And is now constantly getting some Oscar buzz, especially for Michael Fassbender's performance as Steve Jobs.
