Francis' illness worsens in 'Reign' Season 3. Laurie spills some details about his illness in the upcoming season. It will also reach a point where Mary and King Antoine needed to hide Francis' condition to secure their future. Surprisingly, the villainous Lord Narcisse lends them a helping hand.

Laurie McCarthy, the showrunner of 'Reign' told Entertainment Weekly about Francis' illness (Toby Regbo). "Were now dramatizing the health crisis for Francis''s illness." MacCarthy explains, "Unlike the previous seasons, Francis is going to move forward believing that his death may be imminent and he will make decisions accordingly."

Because of that, Mary (Adeladie Kane) and Francis will try to accomplish everything they need. Moreover, even though Francis' death is looming, it is unlikely that 'Reign' won't make it tangible until the end of the newest season, as reported by The Inquisitr. On the side note, there will be an upcoming episode where Mary and King Antoine (Ben Aldridge) will attempt to hide Francis' condition just to secure their future.

Moreover, TV Line also reported that even though Lord Narcisse (Craig Parker) is a villain, he will be lending a hand to Mary and Francis. His service will be of great importance when the pair's new scheme becomes difficult enough to be extinguished by just the two of them alone.

The episode premiere of 'Reign' Season 3 is entitled as, 'Three queens, two tigers' which is set to air in Oct. 9, 2015. 'Reign' is an American historical fantasy romance TV series about Mary, Queen of Scots.
