"Mean Girls" is probably one of the most memorable movies most females will never forget. October 3 marks the annual celebration of "Mean Girls" for all the fans across the world. With this day being popularly known as a celebration of the movie, actress Lindsay Lohan took to Instagram to help reminisce this special occasion.

According to Just Jared, actress Lindsay Lohan, who played the main role of Cady, recently took to her personal Instagram account to remember the good old days of the popular "Mean Girls" movie. On October 3, the red-headed beauty posted a series of photos related to the movie for all her fans to reminisce.

Lohan's throwback photo contained an image of fellow co-star Jonathan Bennet, who played Aaron Samuel, asking her what day it was during a math class in Cady's new school. Jonathan's character was the typical high school heartthrob who was loved by many. And so when he turned round to ask his new classmate what day it is, and Cady answers him in a blushed voice, 'October 3rd,' fans automatically declared the date the official "Mean Girls" birthday.

Woman's Day reported that Lohan spent the rest of the day updating her Instagram account with various "Mean Girls" quotes and photos which quickly became famous for their mean but witty lines. In one of the posts by the 29-year-old, Lindsay shared a screenshot of a dictionary definition of the word "reminiscent," she then captioned the picture with "What are everyone's thoughts today? Thank you for your love regarding #meangirlsday."

In another report from Entertainment Online, the "Parent Trap" actress posted other pictures, including a nostalgic still image of herself from the beloved 2004 movie, captioned "It's October 3rd FYI #meangirlsday," and a screenshot of her conversation with a friend showing how she completely forgot what was so special about the day when she first woke up.

With the success of the movie that started the careers for many of its cast members, other "Mean Girls" stars took to social media to share their love for the 11-year-old movie. Jonathan Bennet, Daniel Franzese (Damien) and Rajiv Surendra (Kevin) also took to Instagram and Twitter to spread the "Mean Girls" love, and even held a small reunion with a few of the "Mean Girls" cast.

Although a cast reunion of the movie is much anticipated by their fans, there has never been any rumors that it could possibly happen. Reunion or not, fans continue to stay loyal to the much loved movie and continue to support the different stars that played the exciting and mean roles in the film. Lindsay Lohan continues to support her previous role and even hinted she's trying to get a similar film titled "Mean Moms" to happen.
