Capcom's upcoming title Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps. is truly very anticipated by patrons of the Resident Evil franchise since its utter announcement during this year's Tokyo Game Show. Despite the fact that it is indeed, a Resident Evil game, the orientation of the game has been announced to be different, not entirely as close to the others.
As reported by Realty Today, the upcoming title Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps. has given out very little details through their announcements and footages so far until a very big declaration emerged which focuses mainly on the gameplay of the expansion.
Delivered by Christian Post, Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps. will surprisingly not have the conventional single player mode that players have gone so used to during the past installments. This is one adherence to the theme that the game is to take place years after the tragedies that occurred in Resident Evil 6.
The story essentially is after the destruction of Umbrella Corporation, wherein mercenaries have been sent to investigate and perhaps extract anything that may be beneficial to the company. James Vance disclosed that they cannot give out any details for the time being except that the game has hints of the previous Resident Evil titles.
According to Digital Trends, Masachika Kawata explained further the possible announcements for Resident Evil 7. Kawata was quoted, Resident Evil will be turning 20 years old by next year, and the much-anticipated Resident Evil 7 is yet to be announced. Fans are still expecting that it will be released to coincide with its anniversary. "
Kawata elaborated further that people might have been caught off-guard with the creation of a third-person shooter as Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps. In that case, gamers are urged to wait for any further announcements other than the game will be out within 2016 with no specifications yet for the date. Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps. will be made available for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
