"Dancing With the Stars" pro, Witney Carson, 21, has taken one step to the altar as she has been recently engaged to her high school sweetheart, Carson Mcallister, 23.
E Online reported that the dancer was seen showing off her engagement ring and a big smile on Sunday as she was heading into a "DWTS" practice.
The custom designed ring displays a 2ct Rocky Mountain diamond which has halo with a rose gold band. Naturally, Carson couldn't help but brag the sparkler in several photos taken right from the beach proposal.
"Still reminiscing..." she wrote in a black and white photo, displaying her ring as she lovingly stares at Mcallister. "& huge s/o to my talented sneaky photog @kfulllms #engaged."
The star, who met Mcallister in their hometown in Utah when they were still teenagers, made her engagement news public on Saturday by sharing a pic on Instagram taken from the night where Mcallister's marriage proposal was made.
"My love of four years @carson.mcallister proposed last night & I feel like the luckiest, happiest woman in the world. It was perfect, he's perfect #engaged," she wrote.
Witney Carson told People how her fiance popped the question in the most wonderful way. "He was waiting for me on the beach surrounded by candles. Danced with me while the sun went down and then knelt down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Of course I said yes."
Carson advanced to "DWTS" last year after starting in the troupe and her work on the show is eventually being recognized. She got a nomination for the 2015 outstanding choreography Emmy award considering the three routines she excellently performed on season 19 together with her celebrity partner and winner of the contest, Alfonso Ribeiro.
Fans have other reasons to congratulate Witney Carson. Aside from her accomplishments in DWTS, the dancer's supporters have started to send their best wishes for the recently engaged, Witney Carson and Carson Mcallister.
