With Cosmopolitan celebrating their 50th birthday over the weekend, the popular magazine decided to give fans a sneak peak of their November 2015 cover photo which included all Kardashian-Jenner sisters alongside their momager, Kris Jenner. However, after dubbing the Kardashian-Jenner clan as 'America's first family', fans of the famous magazine have been going wild over the 'disrespectful' move Cosmo made.
According to E! Online, for the first time in four years, all five sisters of the Kardashian-Jenner clan and their mom and manager Kris Jenner were photographed together in the magazine's cover shoot. Celebrating their 50th birthday, Cosmopolitan decided the best way to celebrate would be having America's 'most famous' family on the cover of their magazine.
The Kardashian-Jenner family proudly took to the shoot to prove once again how beautiful their genes are; however, after Cosmopolitan named the family 'America's first family,' which is seen boldly printed in the middle of the cover, Americans all over the world were outraged with the label the famous 'Keeping Up With The Kardashian' stars was given.
In a report from News.com.au, a spokesperson for the magazine spoke about the situation, hinting that Cosmopolitan is not worried with the outrageous response they have received. "The Kardashians are a huge cultural phenomenon," the spokesman explained. "What we do know is there is nothing like the cover of a magazine to provoke a national conversation."
According to the report, the Kardashian-Jenner clan have more than 350 million fans online, which is more than any other family in the world. That also includes America's real first family, the Obamas, who only have 75 million combined fans online.
Today reported that the Kardashian-Jenner issue will hit stores on October 13th. The family covers a total of sixteen pages in the magazine which also includes sexy photos, a personal bio, how they have got to where they are today, and opinion from family friends about what the Kardashian-Jenner clan is really like.
Although the magazine has yet to be released, Cosmopolitan is still hopeful that its latest edition will sell just as previous editions have. The Kardashian/Jenner clan have yet to speak up on the said issue. And though fans state they are disgusted at the label the famous family received, Cosmo assures their loyal readers that it was merely somewhat of a joke.
