Project CARS New Expansion Released by Slightly Mad Studios; Gameplay Features Include New Cars and Tracks

Project CARS has shown promising feats since the early going of the title, and now, the developers look to add to that, aiming for a more intense experience for fans of the masterpiece. Slightly Mad Studios has just given the latest regarding their hit driving game.

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, Project CARS has been keeping a steady hand for the patrons of the title, and now, Slightly Mad Studios looks at giving more to them in the form of downloadable content. The new content has been made available, and is ready to set the bar even higher.

Delivered by Video Gamer, the latest downloadable content features The Aston Martin Track Expansion, which comprises of three high-end Aston Martin vehicles as well as a new track, Mojave. The three cars have been noted to be extremely top-of-the-line, enumerated for the fans to absorb.

As reported by IGN, the cars in the pack are the 1959 Aston Martin DBR1, one which finished at the 1959 24 Hours of Le Mans. There is also the 2009 Aston Martin DBR1-2, definitely made to commemorate the 40-year anniversary of the 1959 1-2 victory that won the 2009 Le Mans Series Championships-finishing on the podium through every race. Lastly, the recent 2014 Aston Martin Vantage GTE; more noted as the automaker's current contender in GTE sports car racing.

In terms of the track, Mojave is said to be a private testing ground in the Nevada wilderness, made up of five race layouts, as well as a special open testing layout that permits players to put vehicles at their pace. A 1952 Mercedes 300SL and a third pack of community liveries will be part of the expansion. Slightly Mad Studios' Project CARS still has a lot on their sleeves, and fans will get their own pieces of the prizes soon enough. Stay tuned for further updates on Project CARS.
