According to Forbes, Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below is set to go off in a few days for the North American and European territories. As the game approaches fast, new features are making their way to the awaiting fans, specifically some new playable characters.

Vg247 noted that multiple videos have travelled all over the web, highlighting the different attributes that the said title will have. Recently, however, the vital characters have been announced, making it all the more interesting. Some of the characters in the list include Luceus, Aurora and an adorable slimy entity named Healix.

The other characters include Maya, Alena, Kiryl, Bianca, Nera, Terry, Jessica and Yangus-all coming from other Dragon Quest titles. Since Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below comes with a collector's edition, fans can bask on the goodies that comes with the pack, such as a Slime pushy, lanyard, key chain, access to nine Slime weapons and two extra bonus playable maps.

As reported by Geek Snack, Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight below is remembered to have drifted away from the conventional turn-based system, and included a hack-and-slash feel to the series. This makes the game quite more active than what was used to and intensifies the gameplay even more.
