Lenovo Phab Plus Specs, Release: Tech Giant Rolls Out Device In India and Philippines

Lenovo recently released its giant smartphone, the Lenovo Phab Plus. Its current markets are in India and in the Philippines, respectively. This likewise marks Lenovo's foray into the big phablets arena.

The Lenovo Phab Plus is both a tablet and a phone rolled into one. Just released this October, the giant smartphone is measured at 186.6 x 96.6 x 7.6 mm (7.35 x 3.80 x 0.30 in) with a display size of 6.8 inches and sporting a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.

The Phab Plus runs on a quad-core processor and is further complemented by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. This translates to blazingly fast response times with accuracy and precision thanks to its state-of-the-art chipset design.

The phablet, which was initially launched in China last August, 2015, is now available for sale in India according to Gadgets360. The price is currently tagged at Rs. 20,990.00 ($323.61). Lenovo is one of the best-selling electronic brand names in this country and most of its clientele rave about the company's various gadgets notably notebook and desktop PCs, phones, and tablets and accessories.

Rohit Midha, Director of Tablet Business Unit Lenovo India stated, "...the smartphone (Phab Plus) is a smart device designed to live up to users on all counts." He further added, "the Lenovo Phab Plus truly combines the awesomeness of a phone and of a tablet in one cool device."

More on the Lenovo Phab Plus, the unit is generating good reviews among Indian customers as it rallied strongly against competitor brands. And they have every reason to be happy with their purchase. According to Realty Today, the Phab Plus has dual sim capability, has good quality cameras (front and back), and is a good midrange phone. Lenovo took strides in making sure that the Phab Plus smartphone will be budget-friendly and will command a large following in India and around the globe.

The giant smartphone comes in three colors: Gunmetal Gray, Titanium Silver, and Champagne Gold. In addition to this, the phablet has an FM radio, a WIFI hotspot and runs Android 5.0 making this unit a pleasure to use.

And lastly, Yugatech recently announced that the Phab Plus has also stated selling in the Philippines for PHP15,000.00 ($326.25). This comes as good news since the Lenovo brand is one of the more popular mobile phone brands in the country. There is also a growing niche in the all-in-one smartphones and the Phab Plus being big and multi-functional will be very much at home with the Philippine market.

The Lenovo Phab Plus promises a lot in terms of multi-functionality, interconnectivity, and productivity given its outstanding array of technological innovations. As predicted by some, it may only be a matter of time for this smartphone to win big time in the phablets arena.
