The new Apple iPad Pro is rumored to launch on the first week of November according to Chinese sources. Apple had the tablet tested among Disney animators who said that the iPad Pro has a rough surface that creates a realistic drawing experience.

A Japanese news site named Macotakara leaked that the iPad Pro and the accompanying Apple Pencil stylus will likely be released in the first week of November, Business Insider reported. Macotakara claimed to have cited "reliable" Chinese sources regarding the information. The news site correctly said in a previous prediction that the iPhone 5S will sport a new home button.

Meanwhile, Apple Insider reported that the 12.9" iPad Pro was tested out by some Disney Pixar animators. The artists used the Apple Pencil to make sketches of classic Disney characters like Olaf and Mickey Mouse. The iPad Pro's screen reportedly mimics a rough texture similar to paper grain to make it seem like the user is drawing on real paper.

A video by Jeff Ranjo showed that the iPad Pro had a tooth-like texture to simulate real traditional drawing. The tablet's surface is not as rough compared to Wacom's to give better image clarity according to Apple. The Apple Pencil stylus was said to operate on its own unique system and not imitating Wacom's stylus technology.

Before the release of iPad Pro, Apple will first launch its new iMac capable of 4K display as per The Independent's report. Apple is expected to unveil its latest computer next week and could hit stores on October 13. The new 4K iMac will have an improved display and graphics card but its design will not be too far from the current iMac models.

Besides the iMac and the iPad Pro, Apple is also believed to be working on a Magic Mouse that has Force Touch. This feature is already present in Apple's new iPhones.
