Huawei has officially launched its latest high-end Android handset in India along with its Honor Band wearable. The Honor 7 was released in a New Delhi event with a price tag of Rs 22,999 onwards.

The flagship Huawei Honor 7 is expected to go on sale exclusively through Flipkart in India on October 15. Those who want to purchase the smartphone must have to wait for next week to come.

Huawei Honor 7 comes with an aluminum alloy finishing. It features an Emotion User Interface 3.1 on top of it, a 5.2-inch 1080 pixels Full HD IPS LCD display, and Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system out of the box. Most probably, it will upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the coming days.

Its Emotion UI comes with voice command too, just like Siri. In order for the users to activate the voice command, they must have to say "Honey Bear."

Furthermore, the handset is equipped with a 3GB of RAM, Mali-T628 MP4 graphics processing unit, and 2.2GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 935 processor. It also comes with a fingerprint scanner and a 16GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB through microSD card slot.

Camera-wise, it will sport an 8-megapixel front snapper for video calls and selfies as well as 20-megapixel rear camera that features Sapphire glass protection for the lens, dual-tone LED flash, video recording, and Sony IMX230 sensor. In addition, Honor 7 is powered by a 3100mAh battery with support for quick and reverse charging as well as provides an extensive range of connectivity choices, such as GPS with AGPS support, Bluetooth 4.1, 4G LTE, and WiFi.

On the whole, Huawei was able to sell a good number of handsets since their launch in India last year. Thus, the company is expecting a good performance as well this year. With the Honor 7's pricing and features, it seems to have a high chance in being sold largely to the Indian market.
