'Teen Mom 2' stars Leah Messer and her ex-husband Corey Simms took to the stage to battle out their unresolved issues. Struggling through drug abuse, two failed marriages, and three children on her hands, Leah opened up on her drug addiction before Dr. Drew while continuously being ganged up by Corey and his present wife Miranda.
In a report from Hollywood Life, during 'Teen Mom 2's' reunion, things got pretty heated when Leah Messer and Corey Simms discussed their issues. Leah, who has been fighting against drug addiction, recently finished a 30-day rehab at a treatment facility but didn't get any sympathy from her ex-husband as he continued to bash her throughout the show.
"I think a lot of it was anxiety and depression,"Leah told Dr. Drew. "A lot of people don't realize how much it could affect your life. I didn't even know how bad my anxiety and depression was until I went to get the treatment."
Corey straight away added, "It's hard for me to get the truth out of Leah about a lot of stuff," he told Dr. Drew before turning to his ex-wife saying, "People would randomly come up to me in public, around our small town, telling me how bad they've seen you on drugs. It's hard to let that slide.
Throughout the show, the former couple continuously went back and forth blaming each other for their past and present issues. Corey then accused Leah of being jealous of his relationship with wife Miranda due to the 'normal functioning life' the couple has. He also added how Leah can't keep a marriage for more than two years.
However, according to US Magazine, things got even worse when pregnant Miranda came on and told Leah she wasn't taking any attitude from her. Although the former high school cheerleader said all she wanted was to be respected by Miranda, hinting that it wouldn't harm her if she'd say hello while dropping her twin daughters off, Miranda quickly fired back that she won't respect the mother of three after she disrespected her by having an affair with Corey during the early stages of their marriage.
However, despite the non-stop bashing and hate Leah received from her ex and his wife, OK! Magazine reported that co-star Adam Lind had a softer spot for the young mother stating, "I think Leah is just trying to handle the stress and everything and it becomes too much sometimes." He then added "She's just trying to get help for her drug problem, which is a really big step for anyone to do on their own."
For now, Leah Messer is continuing her journey back to recovery while working with an intensive outpatient therapist to get better. Despite still being in a tense and heated situation with ex Corey Simms and wife Miranda, Leah is doing all she can to continue raising her three children.
