Microsoft was proud to introduce two of its new Surface Series Computers this week, namely the Surface Pro 4 and the Surface Book. While both models belong in the hybrid PC category, the tech giant insists that they are two different computers that are suitable to different users. Here are some of the differences to take note of from the two Surface PCs.

The Surface Pro 4 is undoubtedly Microsoft's most efficient tablet by far, probably running at twice the speed of a MacBook Air. However, the Surface Book is geared towards advanced users, which Microsoft claims to be faster than Apple's MacBook Pro.

When it comes to the dimensions, the Surface Pro 4 is 8.4mm thick, while the Surface Book is just 7.7mm thick. Many believe that Microsoft's designs for the two Surface PCs are quite remarkable since it thay ae able to fit in all the components in such a simension.

In terms of display, both Surface PCs use PixelSense techonlogy. However, the Surface Book features a slightly bigger 13.5-inch display with 3000 x 2000 resolution compared to the Surface Pro 4's 2736 x 1824.

Under the hood, both devices will run on Intel's sixth-generation Core processors. The standard edition of the Surface Book features an Intel Core i5 with HD graphics 520. However, it can be upgraded to an i5 or i7 with an Nvidia GeForce GPU.

Both models can support up to 16GB of RAM, and have 128GB, 256B, 512GB and 1TB SDD storage options. Although only the Surface Pro 4 has a 64GB storage capacity

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will hit the shelves on 26 October selling for as low as $899.00. This model will feature an Intel Core m3 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD. The top end with Core i7, 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD will be available for $2,699.00. The Microsoft Surface Book, on the other hand, will be selling at $1,499 for an Intel Core i5 with 8GB of RAM.
